Travel north through the Italian countryside to the spectacular hilltop town of Orvieto.

Here you will visit the extraordinary
Orvieto Cathedral, one of Italy’s most impressive Gothic cathedrals, its façade shimmering with golden mosaics. Nearby, descend into the ingenious
Pozzo di San Patrizio, a dramatic spiral well carved deep into volcanic rock.

Continue into Tuscany and arrive in Siena, a city that seems suspended in time. Its historic centre opens onto the breathtaking
Piazza del Campo, the graceful shell-shaped square famous for the historic Palio horse race.
